3 hidden beaches in the south of Menorca to enjoy with your partner

There’s no need to go on vacation too far to enjoy beautiful unspoilt landscapes and to dive into spectacular crystal clear waters. The beaches of the south coast of Menorca are those we associate with the image of the paradise island, with white sand, turquoise waters, shallow and calm.

Along the whole coast of Menorca, you can easily find great places to swim, but if you look for a hidden place where a couple can refuge from the crowds, take note of these hidden beaches that we recommend you.

Cala en Fustam

null

This cove belongs to the town of es Migjorn Gran and is part of the ANEI (Natural Area of Special Interest) ranging from Cala Mitjana to Binigaus. The road access arrives to Cala Mitjana easily, following the signs and the deviations. From this point, starts a signposted path that leads you to Cala Trebalúger, walking 40 minutes. Next, you must continue walking another 40 minutes to finally get to Cala Fustam. It is also common that many people arrive to this coastal place by boat.

Playa des Talaier

null

It is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the parking of Son Saura or the one of Cala Turqueta. It is characterized by tiny dimensions, fine-grained white sand, lush pine forest near the shore, dunes occupying the rear, light breeze, calm water, sandy ground with seaweed, gentle slope and low number of bathers. For its size and location, it is not so busy, but there are tourists in summer.

Cala Escorxada

null

If you want something really isolated, you can go to Cala Escorxada, which is about 100 meters long with white sand. It is about forty-five minutes walk from the parking of Cala Mitjana. This beach and the two mentioned above remain the most secret of the island, although every day more visitors arrive by boat. There are other access points, but the distance is roughly the same.

Menorca is a nice place to relax and get away from the routine. Its tranquility and good weather will help you to live a unique experience!
