Why Choose Son Bou?

Undoubtedly, one of the first questions you ask when you think about traveling is – Where shall we go?
Many people who have chosen Menorca, then have to decide - North or South? – Mahon or Ciutadella? – Hotel or apartment?
Obviously, the island holds a million possibilities.  We, however, want you to stay here in Son Bou, and of course, that you holiday with Menorca Rentals.

So here are just some of the reasons why we think you should consider Son Bou as your first option.

Why Son Bou?

Firstly for its location. The urbanization is situated on the south coast of Menorca, in a central zone where everything is at hand. The airport and it's capital is only 20 km away and Ciutadella 40 km. This means that all that lies between Mahon and Ciutadella is a moment away to visit …. And there is plenty to see!
On the other hand, the urbanization offers all basic and necessary services; public transport, chemist, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, shops, entertainments, etc.,
However, the main reason for coming to Son Bou has to be its beach. It is the longest on the island, with almost 3 km of fine white sand. This means that no matter  how many people there are on the beach – it never seems crowded. There is a large car park with easy access and free parking. Once on the beach, the  water is crystal clear and is surrounded by unspoilt, natural beauty.  “Es Prat” the wetlands behind the beach is a protected nature park and the children will love feeding the ducks. At the far end of the beach are the remains of the Paleo-christian church and the caves carved out of the rocks that give a magical touch to the place.

Son Bou is a family holiday centre, as the area is very quiet.  Apart from the offers of the hotels, you can rent one of our Apartments which are surrounded by gardens, an ideal situation for your family holiday. Or how about a Villas with private pool from which you can enjoy the views of Son Bou and its wonderful surroundings.

So, what do you think?  Shall we see you soon….?
