CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
In order to confirm your booking, our payment system requires you to pay a deposit which will guarantee your villa and legalize your contract with Menorca Rentals.
- For reservations made with more than 7 days of arriving, a deposit of 15% is required.
- For reservations made less than 7 days of arriving, the company requests the full holiday payment.
Final holiday payments have to be concluded 30 days prior to arrival. Should this not occur, a reminder will be sent.
Payments should be made in EUROS, and via the following methods:
- Payment by credit card.
- Payment by PayPal.
- Payment by bank transfer.
For alternative payment methods please contact our Reservations team. The price stated on the website is for the accommodation, not per person, and includes VAT.
Any modifications to the booking (dates of stay, number of guests, type of accommodation, etc ) or special request must be communicated in writing to the company, and are subject to availability.
Cancelling your booking
If you cancel your holiday or any component, the party leader must write or e-mail our central reservations department. Cancellation takes affect on the date we receive your letter. Our cancellation charges are the following:
90 - 7 days prior to departure – loss of 15% of final holiday cost.
Less than 7 days prior to departure – The total holiday cost, representing 100%.
Part of this amount may be kept in the guest´favour for stays in the year after the cancellation date ( please consult our Reservations team).
Menorcarentals strongly recommend that all guests contract a HOLIDAY INSURANCE POLICY in case of unexpected incidents during their stay.
Property check in /Property check out
You understand and accept that the official “check in” time is 15.00hrs.

Our Housekeeping and Maintenance staff work hard to keep waiting times to a minimum. Should you wish to remain at your accommodation after 10 on the day of your departure, please contact our Recepcion 48 hours before the end of your stay. Late check-outs are subject to availability, and will incur an additional charge.
If a late check-outs is not possible, a courtesy room with shower, changing and luggage storage facilities is available. Should you wish to guarantee a la check-out from your accommodation, the company recommend reserving an additional nights stay.
If you have a special request that does not form part of the arrangements described on this web site or in our brochure, please inform us in writing. We will where humanly possible endeavour to assist and prepare your request. Special requests regarding accommodation cannot be guaranteed although every effort will be made to accommodate your wishes.
Menorca Rentals is not a specialist provider of holidays for the disabled, although some of our properties are prepared for disabled guests and wheelchairs. It is very important that you advise us regarding any special needs when enquiring about a holiday. By informing us, you are helping us to ensure that you are provided with the most suitable property for your needs.
Changing your booking
We are responsible for providing the holiday we have confirmed to you. If you alter your booking later on i.e. add or cancel members, add new dates and details, or even change your property type the reservations department needs to be informed immediately by writing, a solution will be discussed and you may have to pay an amendment charge.
If you have cause for complaint whilst on holiday this must be brought to the attention of our Menorca Rentals reception staff immediately. Action will be taken at the time to rectify the problem or to find a satisfactory solution. Menorca Rentals S.L. will always endeavour to find a solution to your distress, but if the actions are unsatisfactory to your demands, the reception has official complaint forms at your disposal. Any complaints that have not been reported and logged with the reception at the time of your stay, or any complaints not reported at the time with the reception and that are received after your contracted holiday with us – may prove difficult to investigate and rectify.

When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept the booking conditions.
You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.
Your acceptance of these booking terms and conditions will be considered in the event of any claim made by you against this said company. Remember you have confirmed that you have read and accepted these conditions.
- All costs regarding, water, electricity, gas and villa pool care.
- All the necessary bed making, 1 bath and 1 hand towel per person and three tea towels.
- The property will be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for your arrival
- Change of bed line up to 8 nights of stay.
- Change of towels once a week.
- Welcome pack.
- Repair and maintenance service.
- Reception service, 7 days a week and 24 Hour emergency assistance.
Price does not include
- Holiday insurance .
- Flight tickets.
- Supplementary costs for extra beds, cots and high chairs.
- Return transfers (except Villa Maitreya)
- Any costs relating to wilful and negligent behaviour in the accommodation, resulting in breakages and damage.
The cost of the reservation DOES NOT INCLUDE the tourist tax implemented by the Balearic Government (Ecotax),
This must be paid on arrival in our Recepcion. The amount of Ecotax due will be calculated based on the number of adults in the party and the duration of the stay.
Wifi internet service
All properties have access to a basic WIFI internet service. Menorcarentals will not be held responsible for any failure in this service brought about by technical difficulties, but will however do our best to ensure the service is reinstated promptly.
Rules of the accommodation
The guest agrees to maintain the accommodation in good condition, and will be charged for any damage resulting from negligence. Guests must behave in a civilized manner, and noise must be kept to a minimum after 22.00hrs.
Smoking inside the accommodation is strictly prohibited.
Animals are allowed only in exceptional circumstances, and always with prior written consent from the company and upon payment of an additional deposit.
Rubbish bags must not be left inside the accommodation, or in communal areas. They should be deposited in the containers provided on the roadsides. Menorcarentals reserve the right to apply additional cleaning fees if this rule is not adhered to.
In the case of loss of the accommodation keys, the guest will be charged for the replacement of the lock.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, particularly where the accommodation has a swimming pool. In the event that the aforementioned conditions are not fulfilled, Menorcarentals reserve the right to enter and inspect the property, and if necessary ask the guest to vacate with no right to be compensated for any remaining nights of stay or to make any further claims.
At Menorca Rentals, our priority is the safety and well being of our customers and staff. We are continually monitoring the guidelines and as such, we are establishing new protocols. All necessary measures will be taken to ensure the extra cleaning of our reception area and rental properties including communal areas, bedrooms and the sanitisation of bedding. We will be operating an ‘on-line check in’ with new hygienic measures implemented for key collection. There are also new additional measures for cleaning your property during your stay, which will be discussed with you individually.
We are also relaxing our cancellation policy. All reservations made from 1/06/20 can be cancelled in writing (e-mail) free of charge, up to 48 hours before arrival. For existing bookings, we will do our utmost to secure your choice of alternative accommodation and happily transfer your paid deposit to a later booking in 2020 or for the 2021 season.
For new customer bookings from 1/06/20, we have lowered the deposit required to confirm a booking to 15%. You can cancel in writing (e-mail) free of charge, up to 48 hours before arrival. The balance being due 7 days before arrival.
